Meet the Leader & Visionary

Noah G. Gordon is a leader, preacher, and visionary born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. With a heart for people and a passion for transformation, Noah has always been committed to creating meaningful change within his community while inspiring others to discover purpose, hope, and faith.

From November 2025 through July 2026, Noah served as an intern with the Hyde Park Neighborhood Club, where he developed leadership, community engagement, and public speaking skills. During his internship, he was selected to speak at the organization's annual fundraising gala. Through his compelling storytelling and inspiring presentation, the event exceeded expectations, helping raise an additional $20,000 compared to the previous year's gala.

In 2023, Noah launched his prayer ministry, now known as Something Has to Change. What began as a passion for bringing people together in prayer has grown into a movement that has reached individuals both in person and online. Through these gatherings, Noah has connected with people across the United States—from Texas to numerous other cities and states—as well as internationally, including participants from the United Kingdom. His mission is to cultivate spaces where lives are transformed through prayer, authentic worship, and the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.

Today, Noah continues to answer the call God has placed on his life through preaching, teaching, leadership, and community outreach. He believes that ministry extends beyond the church walls and into every sphere of influence, encouraging people to live boldly, serve faithfully, and pursue God's purpose for their lives.

Noah is currently a freshman at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies. As he continues his education, he remains committed to combining faith, leadership, and service to impact lives for generations to come.

Whether standing behind a pulpit, leading a prayer gathering, mentoring young people, or speaking before hundreds, Noah's prayer is simple: that every person who encounters his ministry leaves encouraged, empowered, and forever changed.

What Is Something Has To Change?

Something Has to Change is a prayer ministry dedicated to creating spaces where people can encounter God through prayer, worship, and the Word. We believe that when we encounter God, we are transformed—and transformation begins with us.

  • To bring people into the presence of God through prayer and empower them to experience healing, spiritual growth, purpose, and transformation.

    We believe prayer is not just about asking God to change our circumstances—it is also about allowing God to change us.

  • Change means transformation.

    It means becoming willing to let God change our hearts, minds, habits, perspectives, and direction.

    Change can look like:

    Healing. • Restoration. • Surrender. • Growth. • Purpose. • Freedom. • New Beginnings.

    Sometimes we ask, “God, will You change my situation?”

    And God asks, “Will you allow Me to change you?”

  • “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
    — Romans 12:2

    Romans 12:2 reminds us that real transformation begins within. When God changes our minds, He changes the way we live, love, lead, and walk in purpose.

    We don't just pray for change around us.
    We invite God to begin the change within us.

  • We envision Something Has to Change becoming a growing prayer movement that reaches people, strengthens faith, inspires transformation, and raises a generation that is willing to seek God and become agents of change.
